In keeping with the Penelakut and ȽÁU,WELṈEW̱ schools, Pete received an invite to teach the unique stone art project at the Stz’uminus First Nation’s community centre.

 

This differs a bit, as it is scheduled as an afterschool class, which currently includes a single class of 20 students from the elementary, secondary, and the adult education school levels combined.

 

As it is early days in the program with the Stz’uminus students, interest in the project is anticipated to follow the growth pattern of the first 2 schools, and become 2 classes of 15 – 20 participants.
